We missed in the Porzingis draft, but the league works in mysterious ways.
A Towns/Robinson front line with Barrett in the wing is not a terrible young roster… Towns stretching the floor with outside range, Robinson inside for bounds and putbacks, Barrett driving, slashing, improvising… that could work.
Defense, chemistry, effort… qualities that can’t be drawn up with a diagram… the organization’s record doesn’t speak highly for itself that way.
And one more thing, unique to this one market, New York City, that’s always a concern, regardless of the player or the game…
… because it’s always the playoffs.
